Regional Sales Manager Government Document Solutions

Objective of the position: The Area Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that the product portfolio and services are positioned and sold in the best possible way in the assigned country markets.

Main tasks:

  • Optimal care of existing customers and development of potential new customers
  • Ensuring a successful agent network in the relevant countries
  • Seamless communication on project status and developments with customers / agents
  • Ensuring the effective handling of customer projects with customer service and all internally relevant interfaces
  • Planning and organization of customer visits, workshops and agent trainings
  • Participation in international trade fairs and conferences such as Intergraf
  • Ongoing market and trend analyses; also ensuring the positioning and distribution of new products and services
  • International travelling approx. 25%

Requirements:

  • Master/PhD in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or similar
  • Technically sound know-how in the field of optics, physics or chemistry
  • Several years of sales/business development, customer consulting experience in the investment goods market environment (long-term, strategic sales projects - up to 5 years)
  • Strong in building personal, long-term relationships and networks
  • Excellent presentation skills, proactive, communicative, adaptive, strongly customer and result oriented
  • English as mother tongue preferred, German orally, other languages an advantage
